Woburn, Massachusetts, October 30, 2024 – The James L. McKeown Boys & Girls Club of Woburn hosted their 60^th Anniversary Soiree earlier this month at Tuscan Kitchen in Burlington, MA, where they honored Northern Bank’s Donald Queenin as the 2024 Champion of Youth. Donald is a long-time advocate and volunteer for the McKeown Boys & Girls Club.

Northern Bank has been a longstanding partner for the McKeown Boys & Girls Club, which has been serving the youth and families of Woburn since 1964. Earlier this year, the Northern Bank Charitable Foundation gave a donation of $60,000 in celebration of the Club’s 60^th anniversary.

At the soiree, Northern Bank doubled down on that commitment and announced a community match donation of up to $60,000. Northern Bank’s Charitable Foundation will match each dollar donated to the McKeown Boys & Girls Club of Woburn through the end of 2024, up to $60,000.

The McKeown Boys & Girls Club will strategically use the funds to address the basic needs of its members and families, increase efforts to tackle food insecurity, and to expand program opportunities for teenagers.
