Amanda Kane, of Kane International Realty, was looking for a bank where she could build relationships with the staff, in-person, locally. That's what led her to Northern Bank.

When Amanda Kane and her husband decided to rent out the vacation homes they weren’t utilizing, they quickly realized that property rental and management was a full-time business. So, Amanda jumped in with both feet and started Kane International Realty, building the business from the ground up. 

New Business Challenge
With luxury rental properties in the United States and abroad, Amanda Kane needed a bank with top-tier customer service and a deep understanding of property management businesses.

“All of our properties required renovation before we could rent them. It became a full-time job for me,” said Amanda. “I was doing all the work myself, consulting with contractors, securing tenants, managing the properties. I finally hired an assistant to help, but I needed to set up individual bank accounts for all my properties to make it easier to manage the rental payments.”

“We were looking for a local bank, a place we could physically go into and meet with people and develop a relationship,” she explained. “When I called Northern Bank to inquire, they actually called us back and followed up with us. “When I need training on something like online banking,” she said, “I can go in and get training with another person, a human being who can show me what I need to know. Everyone is so nice at Northern Bank. When you go into the branch, they say, ‘hello’. They know your name. They follow up with you. That’s hard to find in a bank.”

As Amanda Kane continues to grow the business, Northern Bank will be there every step of the way.

“As a small business owner, I needed a banking partner I trusted to guide me and make the process easy and Northern Bank is that partner,” she continued. “My goal is to continue to grow my business, consolidate and streamline the operation and work with Northern Bank to help me achieve my goals.
